Emma twig was at the school assembly

We are watching the Olympics. Our school did the haka. I was in the haka once we had done the haka we got off the stage and sang the national anthem. Emma twig said a speech  and said the the national anthem bang back memories from Tokyo. We sang a song called cover me in sunshine.

 Petch cycles into the semis. by George Tobin

Last week in Tokyo Rebecca Petch raced for New Zealand in the bmx. It was her first Olympics and she was very excited

 She crashed and went over the handle bars in her early race but she got back on the bike and made it into the semi finals thanks to some good results in the next two races.She got into got into the semi final .In the semi final she came sixth. In the final event Rebecca Petch crossed the finish line in sixth.
